What about the Hindus? This thought occurred to me the other night while watching an evening of documentaries about Islam on BBC4. By the end, the viewer was left with the distinct impression that we would all still be living in mud-huts if Muhammad's mother had remained a virgin. We learned that Muslims had been behind the invention of pretty much everything from modern medicine, writing and literature to culture, bouncy castles and, I think, eating.

But what this farce of bad TV and worse history did remind me of was that if, say, the Hindu community had only been fortunate enough to produce four young men willing to blow the hell out of Londoners and provided a clerical and political class willing to make excuses for them, then the BBC might credit Hindus with inventing the modern world. The government would be pumping tens of millions of pounds into their community events. Young people would be taught Hindu scriptures with resources from the public purse. The Guardian would be bowing its collective editorial knee before their deities. At Christmas, the most rabidly genocidal Hindu leader available would doubtless broadcast to the nation on Channel 4. When you stand back and look at it, the problem for all the other religions is that they just can't seem to provide the eager young foot-soldiers that Islam can.

But pumping out fawning pro-Hindu propaganda would not be the ultimate gift to that community if they could get their act together. Changing the past is easy. Any totalitarian can do that. Changing the future is the real prize. If only they could find four young suicide bombers, then self-appointed Hindu leaders could dictate British foreign policy first-hand to the government.

The banning of Geert Wilders from UK shores kind of says it all really. Unfortunately we have come to expect this kind of biased injustice from the current government. The silence of Her Majesty's opposition is even more troubling. If the Conservatives won't stand up for the most fundamental right of free speech then what use are they going to be forming the next government? Also, bringing arch-Europhile Ken Clarke back into the fold will drive away people who think the EU is a very bad idea. Apparently anti free speech, pro Islam, pro EU; Cameron is nothing but a bad joke. And this from a life long Tory supporter. Only one party is saying what many Brits are thinking and the Church of England clergy has just been banned from membership - politicisation of the Church anyone? But then, the Arch-bishop of Canterbury has already surrendered to Islam so no "Islamophobic" parties will be welcome at Christ's table. Very Christian. The politically disenfranchised are being driven towards fringe parties in order to seek a national voice, a voice of protest. The only people who will gain from this are the BNP whose foothold in British politics is gaining thanks to the dhimmitude of our main political parties. Since the Islamic cancer is spreading everywhere there seems to be nowhere to escape to. I hear the Moon is nice at this time of year...

Lord Ahmed threatened to mobilize 10,000 muslims to prevent Dutch MP Geert Wilders from entering the House of Lords on 29 Jan this year to show and discuss his film 'Fitna". The showing was cancelled and then rescheduled for February. The Home office has now written to Geert Wilders barring him from the UK: "..the Secretary of State is of the view that your presence in the UK would pose a genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat to one of the fundamental interests of society. The Secretary of State is satisfied that your statements about Muslims and their beliefs, as expressed in your film Fitna and elswhere would threaten community and therefore public security in the UK." Melanie Phillips writes in her Spectator blog today "So let's get this straight. The British government allows people to march through British streets screaming support for Hamas, it allows Hizb ut Tahrir to recruit on campus for the jihad against Britain and the west, it takes no action against a Muslim peer who threatens mass intimidation of Parliament, but it bans from the country a member of parliament of a European democracy who wishes to address the British Parliament on the threat to life and liberty in the west from religious fascism." Mr Murray, I hope you are also going to write about this threat to our free speech, freedoms and our democracy. I am furious that I never see the Geert Wilders debacle reported in the mainstream British press!

The importance of discussing Islam is that is was a world power, global ideology and a force of good for over a millenium - its absence in the last century has turned the middle east a playground of capitalist nations causing havoc justified in the fervant belief of self-interest... The call for the revival of the caliphate, political islam, is causing concern to these capitalists who have dominated the region for so long-and the author does not like it!

The current status of Britain has become the rallying cry for those of us in Canada and the US who care about the future. You are the warning we must heed. From a distance, it appears that Britain has given up and become a country which any free person would abhor. My condolences. Amazing how a whole country can become so cowardly. Hope you find another Churchill.

Brits, please beware of who you allow into your country. Bring in good people from around the world and you will prosper like the US.

A simple yardstick to test Douglas's theories might be to do google searches: non-Muslims: 15,400,000 hits non-Hindus: 298,000 hits non-Jews: 6,000,000 hits non-Christians: 33,000,000 hits Inconclusive, but common sense might suggest that the term non-Muslim is used much more often than any of the alternatives, and that Islam is effective at sorting out the wheat from the chaff according to its precepts. Conclusion: dhimmis beware.

The simple fact is, UK Muslims are growing in numbers, political clout, and importance, and if you limes can't deal with it, America, NZ, and Australia have some spare room. You've had your chance, now make way for the future.

Since when are facts "under-informed tripe"? Well, "as much as I disagree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it". It's a shame you, however, deny this right to others, simply because you don't agree with them.
